BRIDGES FOR COMMUNITY
Bridges for Community training offers a common language for our community as we collectively take steps to reduce poverty and empower individuals and families who strive to move out of poverty. Bridges training challenges individuals, organizations, and the broader community to rethink assumptions about poverty, those who are experiencing it, and programs that seek to impact it. Bridges constructs can be applied at the individual level, organizational level, and the broader community level.

If you attended a full day Bridges training with Jodi Pfarr and would like to delve deeper, please join us for this Day Two training. Jodi will speak on the intersection of poverty and the ‘isms’ and address ways in which race, gender, and class all interact to affect our viewpoints and paradigms.

Bridges for Community offers training to area nonprofits, faith-based organizations, government agencies and community members in the Bridges constructs with a focus on community-level action. Training includes examining the barriers to change for people in poverty and methods for creating sustainable communities.
